password protecting class folders

Should I password protect my class folders?

Teacher pages are accessible to anyone who has registered for a student account. Class folders can be password protected, allowing access to only the students you have supplied the password to. This will prevent others from viewing your smartboard files, and more importantly it will prevent any unauthorized posts in the collaboration section of the files.

To password protect your class folders, click on the lock icon next to the folder, check the 'code' box, enter a password in the 'registration code' dialog box and click apply.
